Songwriter. Filmmaker. Producer. Designer. Builder. Making things that help people feel something real.
Southern California — Est. 2004
Anthony Trujillo is a songwriter, producer, filmmaker, and experience designer based in Southern California. Over two decades, he's written songs about time and loss, scored short films, built furniture with his hands, designed brands, and produced records for artists across genres.
He performs under the name March Calhoun and has played with Sheriff McCabe & The Lonesome Fever, Beta Scholar, and Xanimo — projects spanning folk, Americana, lo-fi, and experimental music. His work as a producer has touched albums by Steady Holiday, EPIK THE DAWN, Jackpot Ferrari, and others.
He believes music, film, writing, design, and woodworking are all just different ways to take someone somewhere they couldn't get to alone.
A new record built around duality and the pain of time. Raw, language-forward, moody. Made for the joy of it, not out of obligation.
A book. Still finding its shape. Notes exist. The story does too.
An open garage door. Stopping hiding. Showing the work.
As a performer, songwriter, and producer — across folk, Americana, lo-fi, punk, experimental, and everything between. Some of it released. More of it waiting.
